A HEADQUARTERS FOR MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS

Hi-Con has been chosen to contribute Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) elements for Asetek's new headquarters!

Asetek is a global company founded and established in Aalborg, which is now getting a new headquarters. The headquarters will be located in southern Svenstrup, making it an attractive workplace for both Aalborg and Aarhus residents. The domicile will consist of four architecturally distinctive buildings.

The new futuristic headquarters will accommodate various functions, including the development department, laboratories, administration, and part of Asetek's production. This also means that there will be space for a significant number of employees handling various jobs in the new facilities. In total, it is expected that approximately 220 employees will be accommodated in the new headquarters.

PROJECT DETAILS

For the project, Hi-Con will deliver stairs with separate stringers and stairs in Ultra High Performance Concrete.

Stairs with separate stringers:

The first variant consists of 2 full-height mouse stairs in UHPC with cast-on plinths. The elements will be mounted on 6 recessed stringers.

The dimensions of the stairs are approximately 5.6m in width, 300mm in depth, and a total horizontal length of approximately 9.4m and 7.6m. The thickness of the stairs is 80mm.

The stringers are approximately 400 x 500mm and will be cast with a smooth surface and felted undersides.

Stairs without separate stringers:

The second variant consists of 2 full-height mouse stairs in UHPC, distributed across 4 elements including landing slabs.

The dimensions of the stairs are approximately 1.5m in width, 300mm in depth, a total horizontal length of approximately 23.4m, and a thickness of 150mm.
