In Herning, a new residential area is currently under construction, which will include 39 modern social housing units as well as a new store. Krarupsvej, also called Tinggården, consists of two connected building structures, designed with a focus on creating a welcoming and attractive environment for the residents.

Hi-Con is contributing to the project by delivering slim balcony gallery elements in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), which not only meet the functional requirements but also add an elegant and stylish look to the building’s facade. The design of the balcony walkway elements creates dynamism and life in the courtyard and helps to give the buildings a modern appearance.

PROJECT DETAILS

For Krarupsvej, Hi-Con will deliver 22 UHPC balcony gallery elements with ribs and 7 without ribs – with a slab thickness ranging from 106 to 130 mm. In addition, the delivery includes 28 L-columns to support the balcony walkway elements, which are approximately 3 meters high and 1.5 meters long. All elements are produced in gray UHPC CRC i2, known for its high quality and sustainability.

The choice of Hi-Con and our UHPC material for the Krarup project is due to our ability to create slim and aesthetic solutions. Furthermore, the contractor has appreciated the constructive and good dialogue that has characterized the collaboration so far.

The homes are expected to be completed by early 2026.
