A NEW, MODERN NEIGHBORHOOD

A new, modern neighborhood is taking shape in Odense – Thors Have. This exciting project includes eight construction sites and spans an impressive 23,170 m2. Raundahl & Moesby are responsible for developing six of these properties, resulting in a total of 307 attractive homes.

It is noteworthy that Thors Have is designed to achieve DGNB Gold certification, ensuring that the construction meets strict standards for environmental, economic, and social sustainability.

Thors Have will focus on nature, quality communal areas, and biodiversity. Therefore, great emphasis will be placed on creating user-friendly, green, and pleasant outdoor environments for the enjoyment of residents. An essential part of this vision is the presence of balconies for the apartments. We are pleased to be part of this exciting project, where we have the opportunity to create comfortable and private outdoor spaces for the residents.

PROJECT DETAILS

Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) was the natural choice of material for the balconies in Thors Have, as it was a preference of the developer from the outset. Therefore, the choice of balcony supplier quickly fell on Hi-Con. The UHPC material combines impressive durability with a slim and elegant design that enhances the project's aesthetics and functionality.

For the project, Hi-Con will deliver 192 parapet balconies measuring 3.5 x 1.5 meters. All balconies will have a cast parapet 1.2 meters high along one side and will be produced in both right- and left-handed variants. The slab thickness will be approximately 70-85 mm for all balconies.

Hi-Con will also supply 37 canopies measuring 2.5 x 1.3 meters with a slab thickness of approximately 65-78 mm.

The first phase will be delivered in the last quarter of 2024.
