CUSTOM STAIRCASE IN ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE

As part of the expansion of KU Science in Frederiksberg, Denmark, Hi-Con delivered this staircase in grey Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) CRC i2® to the Copenhagen Plant Science Center in 2015. The staircase is a custom three-story structure, delivered in six elements consisting of three main landings and three intermediate landings, assembled with CRC® JointCast.

The staircase features a smooth surface and has a width of 1500 mm, with steps measuring between 200-220 mm in thickness.
