Innovative challenge
A part of being innovative and open to new challenges means that we sometimes actually get challenged. That was the case in this project, which has been conceived by Aarhus School of Architecture. Several years ago we were contacted and asked if we wanted to take part in an experiment to create a gigantic piece of art by using topology optimized structural design.
The experiment resulted in a gigantic sculpture measuring 21 meters in length, 8 meters in width, 3,5 meters in height and weighted 19 tons. The sculpture consist of six unique and large elements in light CRC i2® assembled on site.
