BALCONIES THAT PROVIDE RESIDENTS WITH EXTRA SPACE

On Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, Denmark, Havnebryggen Polaris majestically stretches along the waterfront as part of the larger Havnebrygge project, aiming to unite Amager Fælled and Copenhagen Harbour in a unique identity. With its 120 modern apartments, this building offers a fantastic panoramic view of the water from the slim balconies that elegantly cling to the facade.

Designed by Henning Larsen Architects and built by NCC A/S for PensionDanmark, Havnebryggen Polaris represents a fusion of architectural beauty and functionality. Each apartment is equipped with at least two balconies, creating spacious and comfortable outdoor areas for the residents.

Hi-Con has supplied the balconies for this impressive building, made of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), beautifully combining aesthetics and durability.

A BALCONY SOLUTION IN ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE

Havnebryggen Polaris consists of two buildings. For the first building, Building North, Hi-Con has supplied 108 parapet balconies in light Ultra High Performance Concrete CRC i2® with stainless fibers, varying in thickness, dimensions, and variants.

The balcony slabs measure between 80-135 mm in thickness, while the balconies' area varies between 3.1-7.5 meters in length and 1.1-5.96 meters in width.

For Building 2, Hi-Con has supplied 126 balconies in light UHPC CRC i2® with stainless fibers.

As with Building 1, these balconies vary in thickness and dimensions.
