Meidoornlaan Bicycle Bridge Nootdorp

At the Infratech 2017 fair, Hi-Con had a show model of an ultra-slender arched bicycle bridge designed and produced. One of the visitors was the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp. The municipality liked the bridge so much that it bought the show model and had it installed at the beginning of 2018 at a beautiful destination on the Meidoornlaan in Nootdorp.

HI-CON DELIVERS ULTRA-THIN BRIDGE IN CRC I3® ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE

The deck of this custom-made bicycle bridge in CRC i3® ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) is only 40 mm thick at the ends. A black UHPC wear layer is integrated in the deck, which therefore has the same indestructibly strong properties as the base material of the deck itself. Replacement of the wear layer is therefore not necessary in the long term.
