SHAREABLE APARTMENTS WITH LUXURY MATERIALS

"Nabolaget" consists of 390 new rental apartments that are well-suited for sharing. They are built with luxury materials, including oak floors with heating, natural stone floors, and oak wood slat ceilings, contributing to a solid Nordic construction.

Additionally, the building is equipped with approximately 370 balconies in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), from which residents can enjoy views of the green areas with hedges and scattered trees.

BALCONIES IN ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE

For "Nabolaget," Hi-Con assisted Olav De Linde, ERIK Arkitekter, and Dansk Boligbyg A/S in realizing the vision of large balconies with space for both furniture and outdoor living. Anders Gottfred Petersen from ERIK Arkitekter states about the balconies:

"We built it in 2 phases, so of course we wanted the same as in phase 1. This is because we were very satisfied with Hi-Con's elements in phase 1. Therefore, the choice was also Hi-Con for phase 2. It was a big wish for both the developer and, of course, for us to have as deep balconies as possible, and Hi-Con could deliver that. This means more space for furniture and outdoor living. We think Hi-Con's slender constructions are really, really beautiful. They go from 90mm from the facade to 70mm at the front, which is incredibly cool that it can be so slim."

From the apartments in phases 1 and 2 of Nabolaget, large balconies in Ultra High Performance Concrete with glass railings extend. Hi-Con delivered 368 balconies for the project, which was completed in October 2020. Throughout the project, we had a good dialogue with both ERIK Arkitekter, Dansk Boligbyg, and Midtconsult to achieve the desired end result.

"We had greater requirements for daylight in phase 2, which also affected the facades. This meant that we needed more window sections in the living rooms. It took us a long time to realize that we were missing a support point for the balconies. We sweated for a few hours, but Hi-Con quickly came back with the answer that it was perfectly feasible to have only two support points. That was great for an advisor who hadn't thought that far ahead. Super positive."
