FIRST HI-CON PROJECT IN THE NETHERLANDS

Hi-Con introduced balconies in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) to the Dutch market with the Amber project in Poptahof. Hi-Con supplied both balconies and facade panels for the project, all made in light CRC i2®.

The balconies for Poptahof consist of slim and simple cantilevered balcony slabs in UHPC, with thicknesses down to 50 mm at the front edge.

These types of balconies have the advantage of being lightweight, allowing buildings to often support very large balconies of this type. Large balconies can help increase the property's value while simultaneously enhancing usability for residents.
