LARGE BALCONIES IN ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE
The Skibbroen project is part of Havneholmen in Denmark. With a sharp focus on appearance and aesthetics, the choice of material fell on Hi-Con's Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), CRC i2®, for equipping the building with new balconies.
For the project, Hi-Con delivered 271 elements in light UHPC CRC i2®, distributed across 121 parapet balconies, 25 interior corner balconies, 33 exterior corner balconies, 24 bay windows, 12 entrance areas, and 7 bay balconies.
