BALCONY RENOVATION WITH UHPC

For the renovation of Thorvaldsensvej 6 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, Hi-Con has delivered eight balconies in gray Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) CRC i2®. With their lightweight appearance and ample space, these balconies have created an outdoor area for the residents of Thorvaldsensvej that blends seamlessly with the surroundings, providing a peaceful space to enjoy sunny hours.

The balconies cover a total area of 65 m² and range in width from 1.4 to 2.5 meters, with a length of 4.2 meters. The balcony slabs are approximately 70-95 mm thick, designed with a single-sided slope at the front edge and a drip edge underneath.
