Hi-Con delivers stairs for the renovation of an old market hall in Finland.

HI-CON STAIRS OF SPECIAL CASTING

The charming Hakaniemi Market Hall will soon be adorned with stairs from Hi-Con. The historic building, featuring everything from food to interior goods, will be ready in 2021.

Hi-Con delivers an accordion staircase, consisting of four landings and six flights of stairs. These will grace two floors near the main entrance of the market hall.

The stairs are made of our gray Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) CRC i2® with a smooth surface and rubber composite anti-slip strips on the steps. The stair thickness is 100 mm.

RENOVATION WITH ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE

Hakaniemi Market Hall first opened its doors in 1914. The over 100-year-old building is a charming 2-story structure with many shops. Hakaniemi Market Hall is now closed for renovation, which will include the installation of stairs from Hi-Con.
