TOWNHOUSES WITH A CLASSIC CHARACTER

 

Hi-Con has the pleasure of supplying balconies in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) to Kong Georgs Vej 57-61 in Frederiksberg. This new construction includes 38 private townhouses with living spaces ranging from 55-140 square meters and a total floor area of 3,615 square meters. The building will consist of staggered units of varying heights, adapted to the classic character of the area.

 

Kong Georgs Vej is enriched with green surroundings and heritage chestnut trees that frame the surrounding buildings. Hi-Con's balconies will provide residents with their own private outdoor space where they can enjoy the scenic atmosphere.

This demands technical construction solutions to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity and meet energy requirements by preventing thermal bridges."

PROJECT DETAILS

Due to the strict requirements for balcony design, load-bearing capacity, and energy efficiency at Kong Georgs Vej 57-60, UHPC was chosen as the ideal material. UHPC enables lightweight, thin, and floating balcony slabs without visible supports or braces, meeting the specifications and wishes of Frederiksberg Municipality.

 

Hi-Con will deliver 43 balconies in light UHPC CRC i2 in 3 different variants to Kong Georgs Vej. The balconies will be produced in lengths of approximately 2.5 m, 3 m, and 5 m and have a slab thickness of about 80-95 mm. The balconies will also feature a single slope over the front edge and a drip notch on the underside for better functionality and aesthetics.
