UHPC balconies with a plate thickness of 45 mm

Hi-Con will supply balconies with a plate thickness of 45mm to the World Trade Center in Ballerup, Denmark. 

Hi-Con will be involved in the further development of the ambitious project World Trade Center (WTC) in Ballerup.

Hi-Con will supply 406 balconies in CRC i2® for the 15-storey high-rise building: WTC Ballerup Tower. Among other things, there will be built office facilities, conference center and apartments.

The unique thing about this project is that the plate thickness on the balconies only measures 45mm. The balconies have a depth of 1.5m to 2m distributed over 2803 m²

The sleek and minimalist look is one of the characteristics of ultra high-performance concrete (UHPC), and we are very pleased to be challenged on what can be done in UHPC.
