UHPC BALCONIES WITH A SLAB THICKNESS OF 45 MM

A SLENDER BALCONY DESIGN

Hi-Con will be involved in the further development of the ambitious World Trade Center (WTC) project in Ballerup.

Hi-Con will deliver 406 balconies in CRC i2® for the 15-story WTC Ballerup Tower. This tower will include office facilities, a conference center, and apartments.

The unique aspect of this delivery is that the slab thickness of the balconies measures only 45 mm. The balconies have a depth of 1.5m to 2m, spread over 2803 m².

The slender and minimalist look is one of the hallmarks of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), and we are very excited to be challenged on what is possible with UHPC.
